How does Red Light Therapy work?

Non-invasive. 100% natural. Clinically proven.

Also known as photobiomodulation (PBM), Red Light Therapy is used to treat many health conditions, from pain and inflammation to the healing of wounds, deeper tissues and nerves. It can also prevent tissue damage and can accelerate muscle recovery after exercise.

Successful clinical trials world-wide have demonstrated the effectiveness of Red Light Therapy in treating illnesses including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes and Osteoporosis. Age-related conditions such as hair loss and wrinkles have also been reversed with the treatment.

To stimulate healing, the red light penetrates the body’s cells and activates the mitochondria. This is the powerhouse of each cell, where energy is created. When red and near infrared (NIR) light increases the function of the mitochondria, the cells can produce more energy molecules. The technical term for these molecules is adenosine triphosphate (ATP). With more energy cells can function more efficiently – detoxifying, rejuvenating, repairing damage and producing more healthy cells and amino acids.

The healing-promoting qualities of Red Light Therapy span almost 40 years since the invention of laser treatments and the therapy has no known adverse side effects.
